Bowling . Special Edition

The serie Tropicalia is the first collaboration of the duo Ste Marihan and Renata Chede. All works were painted during the beginning of summer while drinking wine : )

Story

Tropicalia  is a fusion of two friends’ work. Both born in Brazil and based in the Netherlands, photographer Renata Chede  and artist Ste Marihan have combined their expertise to explore the deep connection between the spirit of their home country and the Dutch lifestyle. Featuring domestic and social scenes, the series celebrates the strength and importance of connections when one finds themselves living somewhere they don’t have roots. Created by Ste drawing in oil pastel over Renata’s images, the surreal mixed media pieces depict moments filled with rainbows, imaginary fruits and high doses of bliss that will be remembered with joy.
