The motif is part of the duo Ste Marihan and Renata Chede first collaboration, the series Tropicalia. All works were painted during the beginning of summer while drinking wine.
Story
The series Tropicalia stems from the studies of a photographer and an artist into deep connection between the Brazilian spirit and the Dutch lifestyle. The series portrays domestic scenes where small gatherings take place. Moments filled with rainbows, imaginary fruits, and high doses of bliss will be remembered with joy throughout the year.
Both artists were born in Brazil and are based in the Netherlands. The collab celebrates their friendship and the overcome of 7 cold winters far away from home.
